Watch

Two numbers while you run: how you stand on the plan, and the time to the checkpoint.

New4.58

A new version of the watch field

  • The time to the checkpoint is always by the plan — fall behind and it turns red with a minus. A checkpoint with a cut-off gets its own row, “cut-off 3:13:20”, red when you will not make it.
  • Every alert has its own sound and buzz: food — 2 short, water — 3, checkpoint — rising, cut-off — long and low. You can tell which it is from another screen.

What it looks like on the watch

  1. 1The course name.
  2. 2How far ahead of or behind the plan you are — in green or red. Always with the hours: 0:12:04.
  3. 3The next checkpoint.
  4. 4The time left: to the cutoff if the checkpoint has one, otherwise to when the plan expects you.
  5. 5The field's version and the plan's revision (R). The revision goes up with every change to the plan — if it matches the site, the watch has the latest.

The rest of your data screen stays yours.
